Thank you so much for being here. I’m so happy that you’re considering me as your engagement / couples photographer, and I can’t wait to make some SERIOUS magic together!

‘In-Love’ sessions (engagements, couples, throuples, all of it are welcome) are so near and dear to my heart. I love them for many reasons. If you’re getting married, these sessions provide an awesome opportunity to meet, hang out and work together before your big day… without the pressure of a timeline & the floofing of the wedding dress (here are more reasons why you abso-freaking-lutely should book an engagement sesh!).  If you’re unmarried / this is an anniversary shoot / you’re just in love with your partner / any other reason under the sun, then what an amazing opportunity to hire someone to see and photograph you two as you are. There’s nothing I love more than seeing a couple get comfortable in front of me, let loose, and allow me to see into their messy, beautiful, sweet love. 

Couple’s sessions tend to get a bad rep… people sometimes immediately jump to envisioning lame ass poses (you know… making hearts with your fingers, popping your head out behind a tree). There is none of that ish here! This shoot is an opportunity to tell your love story in an authentic and real way, whatever that means to you and your partner. If you’re planning a wedding, oftentimes, clients end up cherishing engagement photos even more than wedding ones because it’s a real representation of who they are on an everyday basis. I always suggest we do this shoot somewhere that’s meaningful to you: your home, where you had your first date, where you met, where you like to go for walks, your favourite bar, your favourite neighbourhood. The possibilities are endless, and we will talk through this to find the best possible option for you!

In-Love sessions are typically booked in during the week (as weekends are usually filled with weddings). If outdoors, we’ll aim for a sunset shoot (2 hours before sunset). If indoors, we are flexible with timing. I work primarily with natural light, so as long as the sun is out, we are game, baby.

There is no real prediction for what your photos will look and feel like. This is because my aim is that they will be unique to you: your love languages, your passions, the things that make you laugh. I want to be able to really give you a set of photos that are so representative of you, and ones that you will love and cherish FOREVER (that’s a promise).

You will notice, when you scroll down, that you have two options to select from: The ‘In-Love’ session, and the ‘Wildly In-Love’ session. The main difference between the two is the time we spend together! If you’re hoping for a shoot that includes more than 1 location, outfit changes, the whole SHEBANG, the ‘Wildly In-Love’ is probably the better option for you.
